Help with Go Time for iPhone and iPad — and how to reach a real person.

Go Time turns your calendar events into real alarms — using Apple’s AlarmKit — so you never miss a meeting. If something isn’t working, or you have an idea for the app, this page explains how to get help. Go Time is made by Rainpeak Signals Inc., a small independent studio in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

The fastest way to get help

Use the “Send Feedback” form built into the app. Open Go Time, go to Settings, and tap Send Feedback. It goes straight to the developer, and it lets you attach the technical details that usually make the difference between a bug we can fix and one we can only guess at.

In the form you can:

  • Choose a category — Bug/problem, Feature suggestion, or General.
  • Write your message.
  • Optionally switch on “Include diagnostic log”, which attaches a record of the app’s own activity — scheduling alarms, calendar syncs, permission changes, and errors. Your events appear in it only as an anonymous code and the alarm time, never their title, notes, attendees, location, or links, and never your calendar names. If you’re reporting a bug, please leave this on; it is by far the most useful thing you can give us.
  • Optionally switch on “I’d like a reply” and enter your email address, so we can write back.

Nothing is sent until you tap Send, and your calendar data is never included. Exactly what a report contains — and how long we keep it — is itemized in the Go Time Privacy Policy.

What to expect after you send

We read every report. If you switched on “I’d like a reply” and gave an email address, we’ll get back to you at that address as soon as we can — Rainpeak is a small studio, so please allow a few business days. If you didn’t ask for a reply, your report still gets read and acted on, but we have no way to contact you, so you won’t hear back.

We can’t promise that every suggestion will be built, or that every bug will be fixed quickly. What we can promise is that a real person reads what you send.

Email us directly

If you can’t open the app, or you’d rather just write to us, email hello@rainpeaksignals.com. It reaches the same place. Telling us your device model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when the problem happened will help us get to an answer faster.

Troubleshooting: alarms aren’t ringing

Most alarm problems come down to one of the following. It’s worth walking the list before writing in — and if none of it helps, send a report with the diagnostic log attached and we’ll take a look.

  • Alarm permission. Go Time schedules real system alarms through Apple’s AlarmKit, which needs your permission. If it was denied or later revoked, no alarms can be scheduled. Check it in the iOS Settings app.
  • Calendar permission. Go Time reads your events through Apple’s EventKit, on your device, to know when to ring. Without calendar access it has nothing to schedule from. Note that granting write-only access isn’t enough — Go Time needs to be able to read your events.
  • Alarms may be paused. Check whether you’ve paused scheduling in the app.
  • Which calendars are being watched. Go Time only creates alarms for the calendars you’ve chosen. If an event is on a calendar that isn’t selected, it won’t ring.
  • Background App Refresh. Go Time uses background refresh to keep up with calendar changes. If it’s switched off or restricted, newly added or moved events may not be picked up promptly.
  • System version. Go Time requires iOS/iPadOS 26.1 or later.

Please note: Go Time is a helpful aid, not a guaranteed alerting system. Alarm delivery depends on iOS, AlarmKit, your calendar data, your permissions, and your device’s settings and state. Do not rely on Go Time as your sole reminder for time-critical or important events. The full reliability terms are in the Go Time Terms of Use.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Go Time is free to download. Go Time Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Because Apple is the merchant of record, Apple — not Rainpeak — handles all payments, subscription changes, cancellations, and refunds.

  • View, change, or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account’s subscription settings on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro access continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple’s terms.
  • Restore a purchase if Pro features don’t appear after reinstalling or moving to a new device. Go Time checks your subscription status with Apple on your own device.

We have no access to your payment details and can’t issue refunds ourselves — but if something looks wrong with your Pro access in the app, do write in and we’ll help you work out what’s going on.

Privacy and your data

Your calendar never leaves your device. Go Time has no account or sign-in, no tracking, and no advertising. The only information that ever leaves your device is a feedback report you explicitly choose to send. To ask us to delete feedback you’ve sent, or with any privacy question, email hello@rainpeaksignals.com. The full detail is in the Go Time Privacy Policy.
