Privacy Policy

Last updated June 10, 2026.

Go Time turns your calendar events into real alarms — using Apple’s AlarmKit — so you never miss a meeting. The alarms ring even when your phone is on silent or in Focus. This policy explains, in plain English, exactly what data Go Time uses and how your privacy is protected.

Go Time is developed by Rainpeak Signals Inc. (“Rainpeak,” “we,” “us”), a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. In this policy, references to “the developer” mean Rainpeak Signals Inc.

The short version

Your calendar data and all of your app activity stay on your device. Go Time has no account or sign-in, no tracking, and no advertising. The only information that ever leaves your device is feedback you explicitly choose to write and send through the in-app “Send Feedback” form — and we don’t sell, share, or use it to track you.

How Go Time uses your calendar

Go Time reads your calendar events through Apple’s EventKit (Calendar access) solely on your device, and only to decide when to schedule alarms before your meetings. Your events are processed locally on your iPhone. They are never uploaded, copied to a server, or sent to anyone — including the developer.

Data we collect

The only personal data the developer ever collects is the feedback you choose to submit through the in-app “Send Feedback” form, described in the next section. Nothing is collected unless and until you write a message and tap Send. Specifically:

  • No calendar data, event details, or meeting information ever leaves your device.
  • No analytics or usage data is sent off the device. Any diagnostic logging stays on your device (in the standard iOS system log) and is never transmitted to the developer or anyone else.
  • No tracking across apps or websites, no advertising, and no advertising identifier (IDFA).
  • No third-party SDKs that collect or transmit your information.
  • No account, sign-in, or profile — Go Time does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.

The single exception is voluntary feedback, which we explain in full below.

Feedback you send us

Go Time includes an optional “Send Feedback” form (in Settings) where you can report a bug or problem, suggest a feature, or share general comments. This feature is entirely voluntary and user-initiated: nothing is ever sent unless you write a message and tap Send.

When — and only when — you send feedback, the app transmits the following to the developer (Rainpeak Signals Inc.) over a secure HTTPS connection:

  • The category you picked (Bug/problem, Feature suggestion, or General).
  • The message text you wrote.
  • Basic technical context to help us reproduce and triage the issue: the app version, your iOS version, and your device model (for example, “iPhone16,2”).
  • A timestamp of when the feedback was sent.

That is all that is sent. The app does not include your name, email address, calendar data, events, or any account or device identifier — unless you voluntarily type such information into your message yourself. We receive this feedback only so we can read it, respond to and act on it, and improve the app.

Your feedback is not sold, not shared for advertising, not used to track you, and not linked to your identity. Rainpeak has no account system and no user profiles, so the only identifying information your feedback could ever contain is whatever you choose to put in the message. The device model and version details are general technical attributes, not a unique identifier for you.

Retention. We keep submitted feedback only for as long as needed to address it and to improve the app, after which it is deleted. If you’d like us to delete feedback you’ve sent, email us at hello@rainpeaksignals.com; because feedback carries no account or identifier, please include enough detail (such as the approximate date and content of your message) for us to locate it.

Data stored on your device

The only data Go Time stores is kept locally on your device: your app preferences (such as your chosen lead time, selected calendars, and rules) and the list of alarms it has scheduled. This information stays on your iPhone and is never transmitted anywhere.

Retention and deletion. Because this data lives only on your device, it is retained for as long as Go Time is installed. You can clear it by changing your settings in the app, and it is permanently and completely removed when you delete the app from your device. There is no server-side copy for the developer to retain or delete.

Security

Go Time keeps your calendar data and all app activity on your device, where your information benefits from your iPhone’s own built-in protections — including device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and the operating system’s data protection and app sandboxing. The only data that ever leaves your device is feedback you choose to send, which is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. There is no developer-held account database or user profiles — the only developer-side information is the voluntary feedback you submit, which we keep only as long as needed to address it.

Permissions Go Time requests

To do its job, Go Time asks for two iOS permissions:

  • Calendar access — to read your events so it can schedule an alarm before each one.
  • Alarms — to schedule alarms through Apple’s AlarmKit.

You can use the app without granting these, but it won’t be able to schedule alarms from your calendar. You can change or revoke either permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Subscriptions and payments

“Go Time Pro” is an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly, with a free trial) sold through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes all payments and purchase data. The developer never receives your name, payment card, or billing details — Go Time only learns from Apple, on your own device, whether an active Pro subscription exists, so it can unlock Pro features.

Any purchase, billing, or account information you provide to the App Store is handled by Apple and governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy (available at apple.com/legal/privacy), not by this policy. The developer has no access to that information.

Meeting (“Join”) links

When you tap a “Join” link for a meeting, it opens in the relevant app or browser. That link comes from your own calendar data, and tapping it is a normal link tap handled by iOS — Go Time does not track it.

Children’s privacy

Go Time is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom). The only information the developer ever collects is feedback a user voluntarily chooses to send, and the app is not intended for use by children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the feedback form, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

Your rights and your data

All of your app data — your calendar information, settings, and scheduled alarms — lives on your device, and it is permanently removed when you delete the app. You remain in full control: you can change your settings, revoke Calendar or Alarms permission in the iOS Settings app, or delete the app at any time. The only personal data the developer ever holds is feedback you choose to submit; you can ask us to access or delete that feedback by emailing hello@rainpeaksignals.com (please include enough detail for us to locate it, since feedback carries no account or identifier).

Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

The developer does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act — and never has in the preceding 12 months. The only personal information the developer collects is the feedback you choose to submit through the in-app form (the message you write, plus app version, iOS version, device model, and a timestamp), and it is used solely to read and act on your feedback and improve the app — never sold, shared, or used to track you. Your calendar data and other in-app data stay on your device under your control and are not collected. California residents may request access to, or deletion of, feedback they have submitted by contacting us at the address below; please include enough detail for us to locate it, as feedback is not linked to any identity or account. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

European Economic Area & United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Go Time processes your calendar data entirely on your own device to schedule alarms, and transmits none of it to the developer or any third party. You exercise control over that on-device data directly by adjusting settings, revoking permissions, or deleting the app. The lawful basis for that limited, on-device use of your calendar is your consent, given through the iOS permission prompt, which you can withdraw at any time in the iOS Settings app.

The only personal data the developer receives onto its own systems is the feedback you voluntarily submit through the in-app form (your message, plus app version, iOS version, device model, and a timestamp). The lawful basis for processing this is your consent — given by choosing to send the feedback — and our legitimate interest in responding to it and improving the app; you can withhold it simply by not using the form. We use this feedback only to read and act on it, do not sell or share it, and do not use it to track or profile you. With respect to feedback you have sent, you may exercise your data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection) by contacting us at the details below; because feedback is not linked to an account or identifier, please include enough detail for us to locate it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Canada (PIPEDA & BC PIPA)

As a company incorporated in British Columbia, Rainpeak is committed to handling personal information in accordance with Canada’s federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA). Go Time processes your calendar data entirely on your own device, and Rainpeak does not collect, store, or transmit it to its own servers. The only personal information Rainpeak collects is the feedback you choose to submit through the in-app form, and only for the purpose of responding to it and improving the app; we do not sell, share, or use it to track you. Consent for Go Time’s on-device calendar and alarm access is given through the iOS permission prompts, and you can withdraw that consent at any time in the iOS Settings app; consent to send feedback is given each time you choose to submit it. You may ask Rainpeak to access or correct feedback you have submitted, or contact us with any privacy questions, at the address below. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

International users and data transfers

Go Time keeps your calendar data and other in-app data on your device, so there is no international transfer of that data. The one exception is feedback you choose to send: when you submit it, it is transmitted to the developer’s secure webhook and may be received and processed on servers located in Canada, the United States, or other countries. By choosing to send feedback, you understand it may be processed outside your home country. Separately, any App Store or subscription information you provide to Apple is handled by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy and may be processed by Apple in the United States or elsewhere; that is outside the developer’s control.

Terms of use

Your use of Go Time is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to apps licensed through the App Store (available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). Please review it for the terms that apply to the app.

Please note: Go Time is a helpful aid, not a guaranteed alerting system. Alarm delivery depends on iOS, AlarmKit, your calendar data, and your device’s settings and state (for example, the device being powered on and not in an interfering state). Like any app, it can be affected by software issues or conditions outside the developer’s control, so it cannot be guaranteed to alert you for every event. Do not rely on Go Time as your sole or only reminder for time-critical or important events. Go Time is provided “as is,” without warranty that alarms will always fire, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Except as otherwise governed by Apple’s Standard EULA, these terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review it from time to time. Your continued use of Go Time after an update means you accept the revised policy.
